29 November 2025, Dhanbad: NBJK’s Vimla Ramkrishna Bajaj Eye Hospital, Deoghar organized a free eye screening camp at Bhikhrajpur Panchayat Bhawan in Baliapur block of Dhanbad district under the CSR support of CMPDIL–RI II, Dhanbad. On this occasion, CMPDIL handed over a Mobile Eye Health Van to the hospital, which was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Uma Shankar Singh (Regional Director, CMPDIL), Mrs. Nitu Singh (President, Mahila Mandal), and Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK).
The medical team provided complete eye screening, cataract and vision checkup, BP–sugar test, and distributed free spectacles and medicines. The camp recorded 137 OPD, 90 patients received medicines, and 69 received spectacles.
This mobile eye screening initiative will continue in Baliapur and Tundi blocks for the next 3–4 months, ensuring accessible eye care services in underserved rural areas. Local dignitaries, Panchayat representatives, CMPDIL CSR committee members, and the VRBEH team were present during the program.
