We are restoring eyesight in areas with poorest eye health facility, and by reaching out in remote villages. Currently our intervention is in Jharkhand and Bihar. We have plans to expand our reach to West Bengal, Odisha, and North-eastern states as well where millions of people are going blind without accessible eye health facility.

Bringing quality eye care closer to underserved communities!During June 2026 (till 26th), Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra’s Vimla Ramkrishna Bajaj Eye Hospital (VRBEH), Deoghar conducted 9 outreach eye screening camps in the remote villages of Chakai and Sono blocks of Jamui district and Deoghar Sadar block of Deoghar district with support from Seva Foundation.Key achievements:👁️ 208 patients screened👓 76 cases of refractive errors identified🔍 85 cataract cases detected💉 12 cases of pterygium identified💊 29 patients provided free medicines🏥 6 patients referred for advanced treatmentAll identified cataract patients will receive free cataract surgery along with transportation, accommodation, meals, medicines and post-operative follow-up support. The outreach eye screening camps and cataract surgeries are being supported by Seva Foundation.Additionally, VRBEH’s Vision Center at Jamua, Giridih served 163 patients, identifying 123 cases of refractive errors and 31 cataract cases.
