Special Eye Screening Camp for PwDs
09 July 2022, Hazaribagh: Under Inclusive Eye Health Program, a special free eye screening camp for Persons with Disabilities was organized at old block office premises near Jhinjhariya pul as a joint effort of Sightsavers, JSLPS and NBJK. This ensured 68 OPD with 58 PwDs out of which 10 were children. After checkup, 08 have been found as cataract ridden, 21 suffering from refractive error and remaining with other eye problems. Finolex-Mukul Madhav Foundation to help 500 Cataract Surgeries
04 July 2022, Ranchi: Today, a written agreement has been signed between NBJK and Pune based Finolex Industries Limited-its CSR arm Mukul Madhav Foundation that NBJK run LokNayak JayPrakash Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chauparan, Hazaribagh) will be financially funded under the company’s CSR support to conduct 500 cataract surgeries among poor people this year. Eye Care Service reaches to People
During the period of 11 – 27 June 2022, Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation supported and NBJK run Vimla Ramakrishn Bajaj Eye Hospital, Deoghar has conducted eye screening camps in Deoghar urban as well as rural areas like ward no. 29, 5, 4 Rupsagar, Barkatola middle school, Karankol anganwadi center, Balsara, Pathalgadda, Berwatand, Kothiys, Nayachitkath and Khagra. These camps have ensured 349 OPD out of which 154 found with refractive error, 84 with cataract, 6 with pterigium and 2 with other complications. [...]
Consultation Workshop with DBCS
23 June 2022, Dumka: With support of CBM, NBJK run LNJP Eye Hospital, Dumka has organized a Consultation Workshop with District Blindness Control Society upon training, financial & technical support to control and prevention of blindness as well as treatment of cataract. Eye Screening Camp on occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav
21 June 2022, Chaauparaan (Hazaribagh): On occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav e. g. 75th Anniversary of Independence, NBJK run LNJP Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chauparan, Hazaribagh) has organized eye screening camp at Pandeybara premises of Rajkeshri Constructions associated with GT road & flyover construction work in this area. More than 200 staffs, officers of Construction Company including local people have gone through their eye checkup and got consultation with medicines.
