15 July 2022, Chauparan (Hazaribagh): In the Eye Screening-cum-Cataract Camp held at Chauparan block office premises by Sightsavers, JSLPS & NBJK, 54 persons found with Cataract, Mr. Kirti Rawat (DPC-REH, Sightsavers) has informed.
He said that out of total 176 OPD, such a large number of cataract patients justify our campaign under Rural Eye Health program in collaboration with LNJP Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chauparan) by NBJK.
All they were taken to LNJPEH for free Cataract surgery. Remaining patients got free consultation for glasses & medicines.
The medical team with Mr. Praveen Kumar (optometrist), Mr. Raju Kumar, Mr. Sanjay, Ms. Seema Kumari and Ms. Imrana Khatoon has contributed to the camp.
